pen / paper / copic markers / photoshop cs4He's back and he's brought all the usual fonts and bad puns with him.
Meant for this to be better. Actually took some time on the pencils, trying to make the faces more 'professional' looking and do some perspective and angles and stuff. Then, partially becasue internet access has been so sporadic, I had to rush the inking, coloring, and shading and it all looks a lot messier than I want it to. Eh, oh well.

It had to do with a side effect of the procedure Dr. Insanity performed on her to save her life from a rare desease. The same procedure he performed on himself that made him 'Dr. Insanity' actually. Her vocal functions were all messed up and she wouldn't stop screaming so he sew her mouth shut.

Not on purpose. She isn't motivated to due horrible experiments on people in the name of science like him, nor is she an all around rude a-hole like he is. She likes fluffy things and is secretly a bit of a romantic. That said, she is loyal to him absolutely, and if he tells her to go kill some people and bring back their organs, she will do so without question and without remorse.

So that is a yes, innocents doesn't mean murdering for organs is good.

I was just trying to be clear. Yes, she is most defintely a moral antagonist. Socially, she is polite and demure to the doctor's rude and arrogant, but that doesn't make up for her willingness to kill innocent people. I was just trying to explian that her reasons come from a very different place than his ('Dr I: Knowledge superseds morality' 'Anna: Total Devotion'). Of course, neither of them see their actions as good/bad, even if we do.

You know, I really like how you lit this. It's an odd thing to single out, but I'm noticing variety in light sources/colours, which makes the comic much more interesting to look at.
And, of course, I'm glad to see the doctor back in business. I'm looking forwards to seeing him compete!

It's so funny you say that since one of the main things I was trying to concentrate/improve on this time around was shading in context to the direction of the light. At least, that was before I had to do the last third of it in like an hour due to time contraints.
I guess you must have a good eye for this kind of thing. Haha.
