My entry to the 7th Anniversary FFXI Fan Art Contest.
I submitted it with the following caption:
Though we may change the clothes we wear,
forget not the path that led us there.
Not my best work. =< But... I'm glad I stuck it out anyway. Made it just in time. I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow and find even more things wrong with it. XD

Abyssea isn't so bad. It drastically changed the way XI was played but in many ways it needed the update. Though having a job at max level doesn't mean squat anymore. XD It's nice to just be able to grab a couple friends and go adventuring though.

I like how you went from the reasonable whitemage with the nobles and transformed into the bad-ass melee-mage~
Also really fun to see the evolution from the first lvl1 to the end and also showing off different moods for each of the steps.

Though considered weak, I think I used the Blessed Hammer when the LS went skilling back before I knew the full potention of the weapon. (And long before I knew what hexa strike was) ;3

Makes me reflect on my WHM journey to 75. :3 All the favors I pulled in for AF quests. All the holidays came by friends gave me armor :3 I never seemed to And the funny times I had in parties. If I could do it all over again I would in a heart beat ^^ Good times, good times.
