This took too long, but for a reasonable reason!
For many of you who do not know, my laptop charger died a few weeks ago and I got a replacement a few days ago! This drawing was stuck in my laptop for WEEKS. I decided to work on it when I was in the middle of doing a ref.

Anyways, this was made to express the danger BP has done, in a way. I started reading about it in depth when I stumbled on *yuumei again and I felt an urge to do something. I can't do anything like donate money or actually clean up the mess, so I decided to contribute something to her contest and spread the word. I don't really expect to win, disregarding the fact that I never do, she is so well known, other amazing artists are going to come and join, don't see why mine would stand out, you know? But at least I'm doing something and that satisfies me.

Turtles are being burned and the most damage is underwater, so I wanted to incorporate those factors. This was pretty big because I wanted to paint it, so the girl & turtle are on one layer. Everything else is separate though cause I was having a very indecisive moment.

I do hope this somehow does something, but finally, this is done! I'm kind of okay with it, haha.

Might edit this, not sure.

Also, saw this this morning.
