Description A sketch i did when I was first introduced to the Wacom Tablet and Painter Classic.

Some of the perspective is funky bad, but I think it turned out quite alright for a first time

They seek adventure. Rider, with trusty telescopic lens in hand, and dragon, with its keen sense of vision. One looks off into the distance, and one's eyes venture below. Which way shall they go? Who shall decide? Those questions are unimportant as both paths will lead to the unknown. They are adventure seekers.

Very nice job you did there. Personally, I love the sketch-book look of it; it does not need to be fully rendered in my mind to be good. Even in saying, the rendering you did do is pretty spot on. And I love the sepia tone. Nice.

Keep up the good work.

and she looks so anxious to find some adventure too. i like the bridle in the dragons mouth and how there's just a little slack in the reigns. not something you see often, a bridled dragon. the long curving horns look good on the rather small dragon. i like how limber the dragon seems to be, even if the tail looks rather stunted.

um. ok xD what about coloring [not that this one has any ^^''] what brush do you use to color?

PsychedelicMind In reply to Illuminating [2004-06-19 16:40:39 +0000 UTC]

depends on my mood? lol. usually it's the cover pencil, airbrush, oil pastel or captured brush. but there's so many more options to explore in there... it's so much fun. am currenly trying to get better at my airbrushing.

The important thing for me now is not what tools i use... it's the colors i choose and how i mix them. Coloring so not easy. Being able to understand how different colors and shades work together to create different moods is great. It takes lotsa practice and observation... and more guts than usual to get out of the current way of working with colors... so yeah~ I feel it's like a big adventure~~~ +plays Indiana Jones music+
