Description
DANDEARTH, the Flower Pokémon. On very rare occasions, a DANDHELI lands on a LEAF STONE instead of just the ground. This triggers its evolution into DANDEARTH. With a bulkier body, DANDEARTH can now stay on the ground. The reason behind the overhaul of its anatomy via the evolutionary stone baffles scientists and Pokémon experts alike.

Moves Learned: Movepool has tie-ins with Dandheli, but there are more differences than similarities, so I simply listed them instead of comparing them to the Floret Fakemon: Leaf Storm, Energy Ball, Earth Power, Petal Dance, Giga Drain, Spore, Synthesis, Swift, Ingrain, Mud Shot, Mud Slap, Mega Drain, Stun Spore, PoisonPowder, Gust, Tail Whip, starting moves Vine Whip and Splash, and relearnable-only moves Mud Bomb and Body Slam

Torterra, go! Oh, wait! What's this? A flowering Pokémon that is part Ground, too? Oh right! It's Dandearth, my Flower Fakemon! Also an alternate evolution for Dandheli. This, in turn, means Dandearth is an entry of mine to 's contest ! Yay!

Obviously, Dandearth is a dandelion flower with a rather fat body with a touch of soil and dirt. The reason behind the soil and the drastically bigger build is similar to Bagon's aim to soar through the skies [realized through Salamence], Dandheli dreams to embrace the land, and it achieves that as a Dandearth. Also, it seems that all flower-based Pokémon has flower either in the head, the arms, or as skirt, but none of them has an actual flower body, so I made one, and it turned out nicely! It looks asexual too, maybe just a little girly but it's fine by me!

Unlike Dandrelix, Dandearth comes from a Dandheli touching a Leaf Stone [which is very, very rare an occasion for my Floret Fakemon because it is already rare for it to touch the ground, so what more a chance of touching an evolutionary stone?]. This is referenced by the '-dearth' in Dandearth's name. However, unlike most Leaf Stone evolutions, my concentration on the Dandheli-Dandearth evolution is not about the 'Leaf' but about the 'Stone.' Leaf Stones can only be found on the ground, and with Dandheli's dream to embrace land, it trades its Flying type for the Ground type. Yes, Ground, because the Rock type is too fossil-ish for me. That simple rugged brown pattern on its lower body works very well in telling you that Dandearth is part-Ground [without it, Dandearth would be Dande-boring]. Such small detail with such a large influence to Dandearth! I still am able to amaze myself, wow!

Moving on, Dandearth, being a complete plant [with a fat, fat stem, leaves, and flower], signifies a complete evolution in the real world. This parallels Poliwag's split evolution lines. Dandrelix is Dandheli's Poliwrath [which is categorized as a Tadpole] while Dandearth is my Floret Fakemon's Politoed [as opposed to Poliwrath, it is a full Frog Pokémon]. When a dandelion floret reaches the ground and roots itself, it gets planted and grows to a complete plant. This is what happens to Dandheli when it evolves into Dandearth. Cool, huh?

Dandearth is actually my Dandheli's Sunflora, with the Leaf Stone evolution method and the differing movesets. Dandearth still inherits a few of Dandheli's moves, though: Splash, Vine Whip, Tail Whip, Gust, PoisonPowder, Stun Spore, Synthesis, Spore, and Energy Ball. Being now part-Ground, Dandearth learns Mud Slap instead of Rapid Spin, Earth Power instead of Bounce, and Mud Shot and Mud Bomb in place of Dandrelix' Air Cutter and Air Slash, respectively. Being a fully grown plant with a flower, Dandearth gets Ingrain instead of Cotton Spore, Petal Dance instead of Leaf Blade, and Leaf Storm instead of Power Whip. And being a Special-based Torterra [see stats below], Dandearth chooses Mega Drain over Razor Leaf, and Giga Drain over Twister. Dandearth also gets Swift than Pin Missile and a relearnable Body Slam [very fitting since it now has an actual body to slam with] to match Dandrelix' Tri Attack.

As mentioned above, Dandearth is a Special-based Torterra [though not stat total-wise]. Sadly, the limit of a split evolution is that each evo should have matching stat values, only different designations. These reasons make doing Dandearth's stats a real challenge. Luckily, I was able to address both. Just to recap, using my base stats arrangement above, Dandrelix has 65/75/55/75/55/100. Dandearth assigns Dandrelix' 100 Speed in its Special Attack, being Torterra's Special counterpart. Those 75 values in Dandrelix offense stats are translated to Dandearth's defenses, being bulky and all. My TripleFloret Fakemon's 55 defenses in turn becomes Dandearth's Attack and Special Att.. Oh wait, Dandearth's Special Attack is already 100. So the other 55 value goes to Dandearth's Speed, because it is, again, fat. 65 HP is retained in my Flower Fakemon. Whew! Glad that's over!

Dandearth here would make an awesome and sturdy Special Sweeper with those moves, that 100 Special Attack stat, and almost average defense stats. You can even include a powder attack to make sure that your hard hits will connect a hundred per cent of the time. Synthesis and Ingrain are also there for recovery. These options means Dandearth can play other minor roles like a Waller and Annoyer, too. But be warned! If there is one negative thing common among Dandearth, Dandrelix, and Dandheli, it would be their 4x weakness to Ice. Sucks, right?

Hope you enjoyed this split evolution lines I made. You can tell I put a lot of effort into such well-researched dandelion-based Fakemons. I am proud of them because they are potentially NOT boring due to their references outside being plain florets and flowers!
