Beautiful render, Ptrope. It (and the photos of the hot rod you posted further down the page) remind me of some of the cars we get in town during Hot August Nights (our classic car show the first week in August every year. Google 'Hot August Nights Reno NV', and you'll see what I mean. LOL)

I know what you mean, Ptrope. I had forgotten that they stamp everything there with watermarks. It does make it difficult to see and appreciate all of the pics.

Neato. Good choice of background, too.

Not that red and white are "rare" colors for use upon aircraft, but the paint scheme reminds me of my late uncle's private Navion. Alas his health declined in the latter 70s so he sold it. The new owner managed to wreck it not 10 minutes after the final papers were signed! The idiot started to taxi the plane from the hangar and did not check that the landing wheels were properly locked into position. The nose gear retracted from the forward motion, smashing the prop and shaft into the ground and the tail upward and into the frame of the hangar door! No one was hurt, but the plane was ruined! At least the money cleared the bank so my uncle did not suffer a financial loss. But witnessing that stupidity broke his heart and I don't think he ever quite recovered.
Sincerely,
Bill

Oh, my uncle passed away a long time ago. In fact, he was buried (with military honors) on the same fateful day as the infamous Oklahoma City bombing, nearly a decade now. His health issues were in the late 70s and he realized he'd never be able to fly again, so why maintain a "money pit" (maintenance upon something he couldn't use)?
BTW, that's a sweet ride! The real-life one, I mean.
Sincerely,
Bill

That half dome building in the background looks like it's from Appleseed?
