okay so basically i was completely gripped and thoroughly inspired by your entire gallery, but i thought it might be kind of frightening if i faved EVERYTHING IN IT, so i had to force myself to choose my favorite TT0TT it took me a good half hour or so (i shall have to return to gaze at all the amazing artwork some more

I absolutely love the way you paint both men and women. It seems that many of the fantasy artists that I've come across paint women far more often than men. It's nice to see someone who paints both. ^-^

I do gravitate more towards painting women, but I'm trying very hard for my tarot deck to even out the distribution so that it's not too weighted one way.

What a lovely piece of art work. I myself have never really done much in water color templates, but I'm curious to know: Do you put a light sheen of water on your paper before you begin to paint? That's what good ole middle school art teachers taught me, but I always thought that would make the paint bleed. Please let me know?

Interesting. But while you are nearing completion, I have completed two full decks, and am about to finish two sets of major arcanae - all that's missing are the names and some stock material, but I can ameliorate that.

That is going to be interesting. For I looked back on Quest and Thoth decks to obtain ideas on how to prosecute the minors. The 40 pip cards may be your greatest task just about yet! But all the same I wish you a speedy journey down your own royal road - I am slowly fighting my way up mine.

Ungh this is just so damn good... dare I say, brilliant? ^_^ The artwork factor is just.. absolutely stunning by itself. You did an excellent job, and what an inspiration you are. I really want to work on my watercolouring now. I'm going to check out that link you provided. This is the kind of stuff I've been looking for. This blows my favourite decks out of the water as far as Artwork and symbolism go...

You've done it again.
The details were already amazing and clear in the sketch, but your additions of colour always get the atmosphere of mysticism and fantasy spot on. That was a bad form of grammar.
Anyway, the birds and faeries are great looking figures and really help in evoking the nature of this card.

ive always wanted to illustrate tarot cards in my own way, its kind of been a project in the back of my mind. your works are sort of a inspiration to fulfill it.

this is the nicest tarot i've ever seen! and i have a tarot deck sheesh. love the colours and that beautiful sun with it's tendrils of light emanating from it. i really get a sense of everything the sun tarot card represents. the energy the vitality all of it. and excellent job on the feathers, they look so light and airy like real feathers! i'm quite impressed! and i love the softness and seemless blending of colours yet you manage to include so much detail! all the elements in this pic work together. it's so beautiful not even full view does this picture justice!!! i'll calm down.
