Hated Miranda until the moment where she saluted Shep (then, it became neutral). Loved her from the moment she rejected TIM. But really, in the beginning of the game, I wished I could have shot her and Jacob and ran back to the Alliance using the escape shuttle, alone. Damned Cerberus.

Haha! I know, it'd be great if you had more options in that scene. However, I never hated her. At most there were scenes that annoyed me about her. Because she was cold and aloof and self-involved. She'd make me roll my eyes at some points and I blame the developers for overly sexualizing her scenes. Like placing the camera angle in view of her butt or her chest size or whatever. It was unnecessary and gratuitous. They don't do that with men -.- Like "cock-shot". And even where they do the very obvious chest shots for men (like Jacob), those annoy me too. Because it feels forced.

It does happen. More than you'd assume.
Yes I've played DA1 and DA2. While I don't love Anora and wouldn't exactly want her as a team member, I certainly respect her. I think she's strong, shrewd and loyal to her own.
And speaking of Dragon Age, I also absolutely adore Isabella. Have you seen her looks? Easily the most sexualized character in the entire game, and yet I love her. She's probably my favourite team mate and if I wasn't so blatantly heterosexual, Isabella and my FemHawke would've sailed off happily at the end of the game and not given any fucks. Don't be so small minded on female gamers and how we evaluate characters. It isn't the case of "oh he's hot aka my new fav. character" or "oh look a sexy female who makes me feel worse about myself aka my new worst enemy". We're just as complex in our evaluations as male gamers.
