While the story is great and the artwork is as well, may I ask why you upload an artwork that makes many believe you made it (I just compared the original uploaders views and favs compared to yours) just to put your story into the description, not even tagging it as literature but as digital art? Why don't you just upload your stories as such, you know DeviantArt has a Literatur tag and provides the possibility to upload plain text? And you could still include the pictures others drew for you, but allowing them to be seen properly with their work. Because I'm sure many don't realize you did not draw this and fav and comment bc they believe you did draw and write both, and even though you do correct them it should be in your interest to upload your work properly.
I'm a writer my self who gets artworks from others based on writings or where I base my writings on but never ever would I upload their pictures and just contribute my literature in the description. This is false advertising and I feel sorry for the ppl providing you with art to your stories because you honestly just steal the credit for their work. I do believe you try your best to tell ppl you did not draw this, but since you use the completely wrong way of uploading your literature you honestly don't do enough to make clear who made what. Makes me sad seeing how little recognition the actual Artpiece from the original poster actually got.

I don't see any problems with the upload, the crediting or the category of this piece, to be honest. That an upload lands on the front page of DA is often due to mere luck and hitting the right time for the algorithm to favour the piece. The artist who painted this image is currently actually getting more views thanks to Pyre's feature and proper crediting. And yes, it is a shame when the original artist doesn't get the recognition they deserve. But algorithms and social media are always unpredictable. It happens to me all the time too, especially on other platforms where huge art channels feature art from others. As in categorizing this upload, I think it's just fine where it is now. Honestly, some of my picture descriptions were sometimes longer than this. Besides, since Pyre is the commissioner of the piece and author of his stories, he collaborated with the artist by featuring the painting alongside his story. This is a totally legitimate thing to do which I have seen plenty of times on various platforms. I work with musicians, for example, who upload my artwork along with their songs and vice versa. I am sure that both the artist and the uploader agreed upon this beforehand, too.

Excuse me? While I may post it, I ALWAYS credit the artist and if possible place a link to their original work. I have no intend on claiming that I make the artwork what so ever. The credit is and always will be for the artist not myself.
Also, as you can see, I placed it ontop who was the one who created the artwork, unless you find this not enough, then that is your problem, not mine.
Also, why wouldn't I be allowed to place the little story with the artwork ? yes, I can see your point on why it would proberly be better to post it in a seperate post on gallery but I feel that placing the story gives the feeling of what is going on before hand and how it came to be.
Again, I get your points and all but this is how I always have posted the artwork I got from other artists. I actually started to place the note of who made it on top of the post since that way people will see more quickly who made it instead of placing it down below.
It is also not in my power that people seem to "fav" the posted piece more then the one of the artist. Unless there is a way to disable the "favorite" button, wich i'm not aware of, I will not be held responsible that the piece gets more attention then the original.
HOWEVER, I will see what I might do about your comment and reflect it on future submissions I will place on my page.

To me, what doing just...makes sense. Even outside of DA, the one writing the story of a book or short story is not necessarily the illustrator. Typically, a written story consists of at least two people, even if the only illustration is the cover art. So both the writer and illustrator should receive equal credit.

As said I don't hold you responsible for other ppl stupidity on this matter, I just feel like, since you are already crediting and pointing ppl towards the fact you didn't draw the art piece, that it might be a way better option to post your literature as such, rather than in the description of an art piece that leaves so much possibility for ppl to be idiots. I see that you do your thing to provide proper credits but I also see that, no matter what you do, ppl keep being stupid (not all of them, ofc, don't get me wrong here) because they have the possibility to be, and I dunno, I just feel like it's not correct. That's why in the first place I asked why you post it like this. If there is a reason I can relate with I guess that's just an issue one has to deal with, but as for now I never had issues with uploading my literature as such and featuring the art pieces related to it 'separately'.
Because on the other hand I also feel like, you, as the writer of the story, may get credited too little, because I bet there are many ppl who don't even read the description at all. They see the picture, they like it, they fav it and I always feel it's so hard for writers to be seen and acknowledged, so my first guess was that this might be a way of getting seen (which isn't wrong honestly but still something I wouldn't do, I guess).
So after all, I do appreciate what you do to credit the artist(s), I'm just... well maybe I'm just fed up with stupid ppl that aren't able to read properly to make the effort worth it. I'm sorry if it sounded like I blame you about everything, maybe I got a little over my self there, it's still nice to read that you want to take a look at what may can be done even though I may have come off a little... aggressive.

the art I've done for them!! :') And as long as they have credit
shown I, as well as many other artists, are totally groovy with it.

Now sit back and enjoy the show!
It is close to midnight and the forest sings is peaceful symphony of creatures. A bonfire dances and cackles by the edge of the small cave, it’s light a howling comfort. A black anthropomorphic with red frosted tips in his fur sits with his back on the side lip of the cave, his dark grey, leather long coat blowing with the wind. In one hand he holds a dark red book decorated with elegant gold designs and patterns. In the other hand he holds a quill, the feather as blue as a clear afternoon sky.
Fen Wolf: (Peacefully etches a story of his creation into the pages before him, a smile on his face as warm as the bonfire near him. He stops writing to look over

Because Fen was once the demon formally known as “Cerberus”, who was once responsible for keeping little shmucks like him from getting out of hell. This was until he became the Acolyte of the God of Purpose and called himself Fen.
