This piece has a fantastic dream like quality to it that I've found is very difficult to pull off. The pastel colors that primarily make up the colors are entirely complimentary, and unlike most pictures that utilize similar colors, do not dull the interesting picture placed within it. It's a VERY good job! I really like the small details you've put into it. Your imagination and creativity are definitely showcased here and the border you used makes the image look very professional. The intricate detail really gives this work a lot of feeling that otherwise it certainly would not have.
The only thing that I really think could have been improved on is the definition of the back fin. With how light and faint it is, it's difficult to depict it from the rest of the picture as being part of her. If a little more was made to maybe pop out the inner most edge near her wing. With the beauty of the rest of the colors, I just feel that this one is so light that it's almost faded.
Overall, this is a fantastic piece of artwork and I can just feel the effort you've put into it. The details are positively fantastic, and I will truly be admiring this image for a long while to come.

Aside from wishing I had made the original file bigger, that and the wings are the 2 things that still bother me most about this piece.

Honesty, I think the wings are positively gorgeous. It's the definition in them that throws the fin off in a way, I think. It's sorta an elusive feeling to it. However, I wouldn't worry about it. Frankly, the whole piece is stunning.

Firstly, I love the concept, mixing sky and ocean life and combining them into one is very unique, I also love the textures you used in her fin and hair, very realistic, the background is also done very well, I'm not sure if this is an oil painting or not, i t looks like one, but if it is it's done very well considering the difficult medium, her wings are also done quite nicely, however her arms look a bit roughly done, her left arm in paticular, I love her face though, the small features really make the rest of her pop, overall this is a truly amazing peice

That's a really interesting mermaid piece. The clouds are a pretty clever way to shake up the usual been there, done that nature of waves. The whole angel/mermaid angle is pretty cool. The clouds are a little too soft to me but I really like the color scheme, it's very heavenly. The blue and purple colors work the best to me.
