I always wondered. What is the advantage to using a blue pencil on sketches?

i don't really choose one color over another in partcular, i just happened to have more blue than anything else. previously, when i was in animation, blue was used to rough out characters because it would not show up on the camera. but with photoshop, you can you any color nowadays. ^_^ suppose i'll use red on my next one!
