Been working on this over the past few days - normally I guess something like this would take a bit longer but I really wanted to get it done before Amphi (I knew it'd never get finished otherwise) so I made myself focus on it. Was a very enjoyable piece to do, it was one of those times when an idea manifests and just flows from my mind onto the screen with very little effort ony my part. Usually there is a large discrepancy between what I envision and what is actually produced. But this one pretty much just drew itself, with little struggle, which was really nice for a change.

Grendel's Harsh Generation was the soundtrack for this piece and was what initially inspired me to make something fiery and angry-looking (for a change ... )

Photoshop CS2, Wacom Intuos3

EDIT: the colours on this can appear REALLY screwy on some screens... if you can see lots of purples, try turning the brightness way down. it's supposed to be *very* dark and the purples should be subtle.
