Wolfgang was sent back recently for some repairs/upgrades. The mask was near completely remade - the last photo in the sequence shows the old mask face compared to the new (one problem with the old mask was that it was a little too small and feminine).The bodysuit was also re-airbrushed: [link]

So far...and I am still looking, but I think this is my favorite. This is an incredible piece. I really wish I could afford one but they are true works of art. You should be very proud.

Your work is fascinating! I was thinking a while back on how a person would make a realistic werewolf costume to scare people with. I had contemplated using animal skins and taxidermist equipment to accomplish this, but you seem to have used man made materials in the place of actual skins. Care to divulge what you used on some of your work? I understand if its your trade secret, and you don't want to tell. Just curious.

Question: how did you get the fur different lengths?? e.g. short around the face long on the neck. did you cut it or is it pre order like that??

I shaved it to the lengths I wanted. I started with a 3" fur all over.

, i like how it came out, but i've been wondering how you manage to get the eyes at a slant ...basically, when you construct the face, how do you build the eye structure? i love how you do yours , because they look realistic and it appears you can see very well out of the tearducts.

Two major things contribute - the way the mask underform is built, and the sculpting on of the eyelids.
The underform is done like this: [link]
As you can see, the eye placement is planned over the headform.
The eyeholes are then popped out, the glass eyes are tacked into the holes with hot glue, and then I sculpt on the eyelids in Apoxie Sculpt. The eyelids can be made any shape at that stage.

I'm just amazed with your work. It's very appealing to the eye, realistic in every aspect, and believable in the same respect. May I ask what inspired you to choose this type of artform and how you are able to put such life into your pieces?
I'm really, really, really thinking about asking for a quote, soon. I'm truly in love with the realism in all of your costumes.

Thanks! Really, I just tried making mask for myself on Halloween, and decided I really liked making costumes. I don't know how I put life into things, save that I have a good attention to detail and I do a lot of research.
