Most hypotheses of flight origins propose gliding as a preliminary step to true flapping flight, and so a leap from a tall place would presage almost any real flight evolution, with the wing planform already firmly in place. Here, a small microraptorian has taken the plunge, either to fall upon unsuspecting prey or, perhaps, merely to get to the other side.

Somehow your wings look so undefined. Either way it lacks the Primary/Secondary Coverts or the multi-layered Coverts as shown by Longrich.
But it might as well be just the perspective/drawing style.

This is mostly perspective. They were drawn with the intention of having coverts. Problematically, the reconstruction of Longrich holds for few taxa, and indeed the majority may have more consistent integument. There may not even have been modified contours into coverts in some dromaeosaurids.
