wish i could have taken a pic of my gf's old cobra (94 mustang cobra) it had a monster 5.0L with dual turbos and it had 685hp right out the engine. to the wheels, about 634hp.
it was load with a racing rear end, and a 6 speed manual. engine is a fuel injected 5.0L 302. she gave the car to her twin sister. and she though about either sticking that car with either a 351 v8 or the "mule" 351 v10.

yeah, especially being that the 5.0L is pushrod (ohv). ohh god yes, it was a friggin awesome ride.

you'd love it. its beautiful. it was dark red with dual black cobra twisting around each other going over the top of the car and down the side. its so beautiful, you'll never find a car like that, trust me.

This is the engine they are also using in the Shelby GT500KR, right?

Yep, it is. They tuned it down to only producing 540hp for the GT500KR though. Still, that is the highest horsepower production Mustang ever built to date.
The same 540hp engine is going into the 2010 GT500 as well.
