You´re welcome, Danny!
Ah, do you use several different generators for one piece? Do you
combine it with (for example) Photoshop or something similar?

I generate regular textures and patterns with Texture Maker 3, and textures, patterns and paintings in TwistedBrush and Photoshop. I also use several 3D programs (Rhino, Bryce Pro 7, 3DSMax, others) to create scenes and abstracts.
I use KPT3/5, Ultra Fractal, Apophysis and Mandelbulb 3D. I do post production assembly, composites, matting/framing and signatures in Photoshop. I cannot say that I have used all these fractal generators in one image, but I have been formulating a way to take selected assets from one image, and using it as a primitive or brush for use in another image. I often wonder exactly the difference is between a raw fractal and a fractal manipulation, and how much manipulation keeps it from being a raw fractal? It seems to split hairs to me.
Anyway, I recently subscribed to Adobe Lightroom 2017, to see if it has a better way to organize my library of images and other art assets, and share them between all my digital platforms (e.g. PC, phone, tablet). I am tired of having to sit in front of a PC to create art. I also want a pressure-sensitive tablet about the size of a 8"x10" notebook, with a good camera with jitter control. But I digress.
Life is full of fractals, as expressed in vegetation, or mountains and rivers. I am interested in seeing how those can be better utilized for art. As I oft say: "Make art from art!" I just want to paint with light. Fractals make good candidates for fun and natural lighting patterns.
Thank you for your time to read all that! LOL
I am overwhelmed with the many selections of tools available for creativity now.

Wow, Danny. That requires a lot of knowledge about different
software! And to move your work between all the software you´re
using. Thank you for sharing the programs you use, I´ll most
certainly look into these when I have more time.
I´m really new to fractals, and do want to throw myself into their
world, as soon as I find the right time.
I´m imressed, so you use all these different platforms to create your
art? Wow, I think it´s difficult to create something on the phone, I like
to have a big space to really spread out whatever might come. So I had
to buy a bigger screen to my computer for this.
So beautiful; to paint with light. I often think that that´s exactly what is being
done when creating digital art, since the screen is of light. The possibility
to create effects with light seems to be infinite.
"To make art from art", as you say, I do sometimes. I use a picture with colors
that I love, and then do something totally different of my own upon the already existing one.
And I agree with you, I´m overwhelmed too by all the selections of tools!!! Wow, there
are so many great, wonderful tools, and possibilities.
I enjoyed reading your text, fun to know some of the processes, even if I don´t
understand everything about the creating of fractals.
