why thank you i'm happy you're impressed with it took 1-2 for just line art then 2 days on the shading/tones/colouring

I have been very busy for the past couple of months and I have been improving more on my skills after leaving DA for quite sometime. That can explain why I haven't retuned since then.

This is outstanding.
I absolutely love that piece!!!!!!
And I do mean that.
It has everythign i like:
Perfect technic, I really like your soft outlines, delicates and elegants.
Quite different to what I am use to do, less comic style so to speak.
What type of outlines are you using?
Is it Calligraphy?
Then the colours, absolutely lovely, perfect harmony.
The mustard colour goes so well with the pinkish colours surrounding the whole pice and the blues, here and there.
the hair are amazing, detailed and well balanced,crreating movement, and that furry effects, lovely.
the expression is outstanding, inviting and somehow strange, very very sexy.
The mouth and eyes are more than attractive, they actullay are inviting my eyes, face to face, creating a more intimate relationship eith the piece.
In fact, yoir work makes me fall for the model.
That says more than I could possibly express...
Not only you are on the right path, but you are mastering it.

nope not caligraphy the lines are drawn by me with the pen tool once i submit the tutorial on how I draw the lines u'll understand what I mean.
yay the colours harmonize together I was hoping it would I tried so many colours with the background but found pink the best I thought of using yellow with the background but changed my miind cuz the colours would clash
I'm hoping the hair did get a lot of detailed cuz I spent hours on it trying to get it perfect to the way i want yet make it as realistic as I could
Yes i agree with with the expression thats why I like the angle and expression of the picture and got me wanting to make it into a vector

OK, first thing first:
I can hardly wait for you to show how you draw teh lines, or outlines, becasue if you are using Illustrator, there is only one way to draw them, LOL!!!!!
Anyway, when you draw your lines with the pen tool, or the brush tool (it makes truly no difference), on the left side bar, where all your tools are, at the bottom you have teh FILL and outlines function.
To be able to see what you are drawing, thew outline should have a colour in there, mostly black.
That means that you are using some kind of stroke.
If you bring your brush window, it will tell you what typoe of briush you are using.
There is literraly thousands of brushed in your brushes library.
To give my comic look, I use calligraphy brushes, and bla bla bla, loads of watercolour brushes, all editable, and quite challenging, lol!!!!
But anyway, I will be waiting for your tutorial!
