Is it common for gingers to actually have hair that comes in two colours? Because the boyfriend's hairs at ear level and below are downright black, and he has a funny little round spot with black hairs on one side of his head as well. It almost looks like his genes ran out paint (in a cool way).

The beard is longer in reality, though. It's just hard to see how long it actually is when the model is not staring bravely into the distance like this, but is posing like a couch potato. The hair on his head, on the other hand, is not that far off. I swear, he's about to overtake me when it comes to hair length, and my ego doesn't know how to handle that.

There are two birds (ravens, though I don't really recognise them as such) hidden in here, one in his hair, the other in the background, because I wanted to add some viking art. Not that I know what that looks like by heart, so this is just a free interpretation of it. Anyhow, the boyfriend doesn't have a favourite animal (I know, weird!). He reminds me of highland cattle, but every time I suggest he should adopt them as his spirit animal or something, he just gives me a funny stare :/ His viking shield (painted by yours truly) features two ravens, though, so that's why I picked them.

There is metallic copper paint in his hair to make him shineeeeh! But that's a pain to photograph. You can see it better at an angle:
