Very nice, but I am confused about one thing. The bird here is decked out as "Old Crow", but Old Crow was a mustang, not a warhawk.

I think everything is ok.
The aircraft model is the Curtiss P-36 Hawk.
Well, similar to this model. I am not very sure.Β
I`ll compare this model with the P-51 Mustang later.

You are right.
Aairplane model is P-36 Hawk, but textures ... hmm...
I think they are not entirely correct.

The markings are for "Old Crow". Old Crow was a P-51D Mustang flown by American flying ace Clarence "Bud" Anderson. Because it was flown by an ace the paintjob is a bit famous. That's what caught my eye.
