From Fight Comics #32 (1944) comes this adventure with undercover operative Hooks Devlin.
Some crooks are killing female war workers after their night shift. When Hooks' girlfriend Peaches goes undercover and is kidnapped there's only one thing to do. Get Hooks a girdle and wig.
As you can see the crooks ain't exactly the brightest bulbs. Turns out they have a female boss who seems to wear a slinky evening gown at all times.
Pretty typical crime comic of the era. Lots of sexy girls and a plot that really was not that well planned out.
But we get to see Hooks in drag and he does have nice legs.
