Hey amigos!I was not quite sure if I'd share these new (and different) illustrations here on DA, since I devote this space to my (solely) digital works. But since these traditional / digital experiments are reflecting a LOT of what I'm experimenting and developing nowadays, I decided that it wouldn't hurt to share a bit of my new approaches and directions. But of course, I'll continue putting up my upcoming digital paintings, too.
This was my first real attempt to create a finished illustration in the "tradigital" mode - an traditional drawing/painting with a digital finishing. I painted with acrylics and watercolors over a graphite drawing on a 300gms Fabriano paper, scanned and then retouched/enchanced some details on Photoshop. This illo is a landmark for me, and it definetly synthesizes a new way of creating images for the future. The result is so more organic, fluid than the digital paintings!

só de imaginar que existe um original disso aí cara, que troço mais épico...
To começando a experimentar mais coisas tradicionais também, e é impressionante o "valor" que tem um "original" (que na minha opinião só é realmente possível com arte tradicional)
legal seria o cara ter um estúdio cheio de telas e tintas, com as paredes marcadas e materiais por toda a volta. No prédio que to morando tem um troço assim, logo ao lado da porta que uso pra entrar nos apartamentos. Cada dia que eu passo da vontade de entrar e ver qualé, mas me vem uma sensação estranha de não estar "preparado"
mas um dia me sentirei pronto, e quando este dia chegar, entrarei lá com uma voadora de pé junto na porta!
