Description
Southern Pacific SD7 #1518 sits outside of the Illinois Railway Museum's diesel restoration shop. The unit has seen better days, but the unit is still in operable condition. The unit has the distinction being the first SD unit to ever be built, so it was nice that the unit was preserved.Related content

Good question. I'll have to look through my photos. If not, I can certainly get one. I recently converted it (and it's running mate, EMD Demo #991) to DCC, so I can use them at my model railroad club.
