Actually, this is only County Galway, the region is called Connemara. 
I like the mood of the picture. Has an old feeling to it.

I like Connemara, it's a very beautiful part of Ireland. I don't think you would find this type of landscape anywhere else. The people are different, too. Very unique... (And they speak this strange Gaelige language all day long...)

I didn't know that about the people there. We were just driving around getting lost and finding these very cool places. And we didn't bump into any people out there. Do you live near there?

I live in the city of Galway and my best friend's family is actually from Connemara. I guess you wouldn't really bump into anyone out there, because they don't really mingle with foreigners or the only English speaking Irish either...

Thats so interesting. I would like to go back and shoot some more. We spent a couple of days in Dublin and then took a car and drove west because everyone at the pubs were telling us that we had to go to Galway. I miss the pubs too. We have them here but it's not the same.

Belive me, once you live here, you don't find the pubs so charming anymore. You'd have to be Irish to enjoy them then.

We get alot of Irish visiting here on the east coast of the states and they usually say the same thing. But I'll trust your words and promise not to move there

this is so beautiful: the landscape, but also the way you present it ... it looks like the view through sleepy eyes, like a dream, like you would make a step forward but not finish it and wake up and be back in your bed in real life.
