Description Commision for *Ilyana88 !

This dashing fellow is named Apache. It's been the second time draw'n him and a pleasure. This time I REALLY wanted to work on the background because I've always felt like my landscapes have been a consistent weakness in my artwork. I like how this turned out- unfortunately you can't see it in it's full glory because the original file is HUUUGE. The biggest file I've ever used. So I had to size it down a lot.

Learned lots of good stuff with this one.

Zomg *dies* This is amazing I honestly don't know where to start Everything is just so beautiful, the background is stunning, Apache just blows my mind and the colour scheme is just ingeneous.

I love the glow of the rocks, the warm and cool colours compliment each other well and the blur of the background mountains fit in so well! I really like the bit above the mountain to the left, it looks like some river fading to the background. The subtle shadows are great, I always struggle with shadows but you have made them look so natural.

As for Apache himself, zomg what can I say! Everything from the pose, the mane and tail, shading and muscle defenitionare just amazing. I swear I could stare at this picture forever. Its so beautiful, I really the flow of the mane and tail and how you shade them is just beautifu. His markings are drawn beautifully too, I love how you have drawn his blanket!

Thank you so much for doing this for me, I just love seeing Apache in your style.

Oh I love this, it's definately one of your best, especially the background. I love the colors you've used, that blue is brilliant.

And Apache looks so fierce, I love the bucking pose, I can never pull those off XD

Oh wow, you used blue to shade orangeish yellow rocks. Who would think of that? It looks awesome, too! That's just really creative.

Beautiful job! Love the musculature and the softness of the background really brings out the sharp colors of the face. Particularly the warm colors of the image offset nicely the blue of the eyes and paint on the muzzle. Great job on the background, a lot of depth!
