Description So I'm putting a disclaimer here instantly stating that I'm working on a copy of photoshop where the pressure on the brushes is completely whacked out, so basically my usual coloring technique is being thwarted at every corner until I can figure out how to fix it. That's why it looks different.

Anyway. This is Silas, perhaps one of my favorite characters to write for. He's an evil, manipulative, sickly, nearly blind Akhal Teke that befriends you and has you signed up and fighting for his cause before you know what hit you. He is the lead antagonist I write for in the awesome group (working on a new logo, btw XD). It is a text RPG and art challenge group that is being relaunched, I highly recommend that you check it out! He doesn't usually do any of his own dirty work, but the trail of blood always leads back to Silas.

Even with whacked out pressure [I might have a post that can help on Tumblr, I'll link it to you via note] he's still as 'smooth criminal' as always. So keen for more Ahote stuff again! I'm going to have to dust off my equine anatomy.

Thank you! <3 I can't wait to see some of your new equine stuff as well! As for the link you sent me, I was going to reply to your note to thank you more but I might as well just tell you here- but the problem they were talking about wasn't quite the same as mine, but it got me looking in the right place in the tablet settings, SO I THINK I GOT IT. 8D So thanks so much for that link, I think it definitely helped remedy that problem.

Alright, awesome! I encounter that problem a lot because I run my PS via Parallels [lets me run windows things on my Mac] so I thought it might be something around there. Hurrah for problem solving!

This is, in a weird way, a really good advertisement for the RP group. I've been looking for a dedicated Equine-RP group, so I'll certainly check Ahote out


Even though you're having pressure issues, this turned out really great! It's got a strong movie-poster feel to it and the variation of light/dark really sets it off. 


I used to get a bug with my photoshop/drivers that would ignore pen pressure if I'd plugged the tablet in while the PC was on. Fixed it if I restarted with the tablet connected. Could that be something similar to your problem? If not, I'd suggest seeing if there's an update to your PS and/or drivers. Failing that... I dunno I'd have to google it.

That's awesome! I hope you like what you see. We're just starting up again, so it may be a little sleepy until our ranks gather again. We're working on it, though! The more people the better.

I know exactly what you mean, and I've had that problem too, but this is different. There is a little pressure, and it looks okay on the wacom software, but on PS it goes from really light to really heavy with very little variation in between. I cranked it up to the hardest pressure, and it's still being like that. Yeah. I think a google search is in order. Thanks for the input, though!
