Description I've been doodling a bunch of random moms lately so I thought I should actually post a couple of them here.

Linda originated from me seeing was making a gijinka of a robin mom who lives at his workplace, and me thinking "hey, that sounds neato.". I actually had a robin make a nest right by my front door too one year. Wasn't very fun.

Linda is a mom who likes fashion. Especially accessorizing. She thinks she's cool, but her kids disagree and feel like she's kind of embarrassing. All can agree that she is nice though, if a bit overbearing at times. She likes to sing (and dance) while doing housework, collect weird trinkets, especially fashion related ones, and make absolutely awful puns. Her house probably looks like the front half of an antique store. She and her husband own a kitschy little bed and breakfast.

Pam just came out of me drawing randomly and seeing where it went. The backstory just came from me and joking around. [she may actually end up being a design used for one of my characters moms or something]

She's actually a vampire, and she's trying to keep her kids, friends, and neighbors from finding out. She is a heavy supporter of sunscreen and, due to the aforementioned vampirism, is always slathered in the stuff. She's very selfless, but a lot of people take advantage of that, including her bratty teenage daughter Sadie. Sadie constantly claims that she's a vampire and that her mother "just doesn't understand her". (i actually drew her too but she was cut out from this) Pam likes to hike, watch her kids' sports games, and just generally be outdoors, though it's harder these days. She works at the local school, as a substitute teacher or a lunchlady or something like that

I like Linda's scarf and jewelry. She's pretty cute overall.

Thanks! I hope you didn't mind me taking inspiration from your idea, I liked the idea and thought it'd be a nice challenge. I can't wait to see your robin girl finished, she looked great from the preview!

Nice.

Yeah, I've also had robins build nests on my front door as well; three times, actually.

Wow, that must've been annoying. Robins are pretty and all, but just having that one bird mom constantly glare at us as we walked past (not to mention just making a mess everywhere) was a bit annoying, dealing with that three times over would've just been a mess.

Figured I'd just throw this out there too: The third robin's chicks ended up falling out of the nest and dying, all because of the wind.

In a nutshell, I had to pick up (with gloves, of course) throw out a trio of dead bird children.

It wasn't that big of a problem for me, actually.
