My entry for this weeks competition of Concept World [link] The topic is "Priest β A Spiritual Leader". Usually I do not take part of such competitions, but since I have been playing a priest in World of Warcraft for years I have a thing for them.I imagine this guy not to be a warrior, although his gear looks that way. He is more of a missionary β one of the violent ones. You don't follow his god, you will lose your life by the hand of one of his followers.

Find ich lustig, weil ich im vergleich echt wenig zeit und aufwand hineingesteckt hab

i wouldnt agree with the posture, stiff, not interesting in any way. Detail doesnt seem right too, doesnt stick, for example armors on elbow area.

Oh I know, don't worry. I am one of the rare kinds that like getting critiques. On this particular Illustration I do not care so much though, since I have done it really quickly for fun without worrying about perfection. So I know it is faaaaaaaaar away from being a good picture.
But I always like to hear what I am doing wrong so I don't accidentally do the same mistakes in Illustrations I actually want to do right.

Schaut echt gut aus! Das einzige was mich ein bisschen irritiert ist der Schatten seiner Waffen. Ich finde der sollte ein bisschen weicher sein, da der Abstand zum Boden ja relativ groΓ ist.

This looks pretty sweet. I love the design and you rendered out the details pretty darn well! I'm still working my way up to produce better digitally colored work. Now I must check your gallery...

I think your design and rendering skills are really impressive. Yeah...practice makes perfect~ though I think your color choices aren't so bad at all. (The eternal fight is one of my personal favorites from your gallery

Yeah. This dude does look like a zealot who could whoop some ass. I like the expression on his face too! Kind of like an all knowing arrogance look. Is that collar around his neck just a part of his armor, or is it suppose to be one of the collars that priest wear?

Both! I find it cool that you saw that. It is supposed to be the collar a priest wears but not made out of cloth β It is metal like the rest of his armor.
