Description Running forward into the darkness his eyes adjusted to the lack of light in witch he favored above all else. Scanning the land before him he saw her fall to the ground and with a burst of speed rushed to her body. Blood spilt from her and soaked the clothing she wore. To his horror bloody tears streaked her gentle white face. He pulled her body close to his and urged her not to speak.
"I'm sorry," she whispered unto him.
"There is never a need to be," he reashured her.
"Of course there is. I..." she coughed and blood spilt from her sublte round lips.
"Hush now, I've always known," a tear fell gently form his cheek.
"No, I..I never set you free."
"I could have left at anytime. We both know this," he held her closer.
"We both know that you wanted my blessing. But, I was too selfish to let you leave me. I needed you. I always have," she escaladed into coughing and more blood spilt from her lips. This time he wiped her face clean and looked into her eyes to let her know everything he did.
"I've always loved you. I was just to stubborn to admit it to you. I couldn't let you know. I couldn't be human anymore," more tears of blood. "So now you know, you have to let me go. Please, just let go."
"No," he pulled her body tighter to his. "I will never let go."
Her hand reached up and held his face, "Oh, dear child but you have to. You have..." silence filled the cavern as the light left her eyes. Once again, darkness protrouded him.
With gentle strenght he lifted her body and carried into the desert night. The young woman stood from far away and lifted her head to see them emerge from the cave. Immediatly she srung to the pair. When she reached them he was placing the dead body into the back of the car.
"What happened?" he never looked into the concerned eyes.
"Get in. We don't have much time."
The yound woman jumped into the car and he sped as fast as he could away from were they were. Two hours later they reached the house in which they all resided and removed the body from the car. Gently, he carried her to the back and lay her among the roses. Four hours he stood watching the dead vampire to make sure that no creature disturbed the body.
The young woman watched from a distance as he tried to stand tall and be strong. With caution she approached, "What happened?" tears coursed down her cheeks.
"She wouldn't have wanted sorrow from this. Once she told me that death is a silly thing to fear; that it is only the beggining of a new life from yours. I told her she said that because she was invincible."
"You couldn't have known."
"I should have been respectful. I love her; I never knew how to deal with it." Only the howling wind was left between them.
The girl left him alone and watched from a window as he lay down next to the body and began to cry. It was the first time and the last time he woudl ever do so. Over the horizon the sun began to rise casting away all the shadows in the garden. Its gready rays enveloped the two lovers. Still, he held on until all that was left was a pile of ashes.
The wind picked up and scattered her ashes over the garden making the soil once again furtil.

I feel like I know this vampire and this heart-broken man...am I correct in the analogy?

No. My wirting hardly ever reflects my personal life. I was in a really great mood when I wrote this. Possibly going into my book...not sure yet. I will have to see though. Though, as you know in the back of our minds we could all hope that the man who loves us would sleep with our dead body
