Me, Gorillaz style! Inspired by the new album, Demon Days, which I bought today... shiny collectors edition, too...Only, it doesn't really look like me.. well, the clothes and proportions are okay, and that's my guitar... the face is the right kinda shape... but the hair and eyes aren't quite right. I'm considering growing my hair a bit like that, though, and, you know, if I get black contact lenses then I'll look exactly like this

I like the fact that when-ever I see a piece thats done by you I always know it straight away. You have a very nice defined style and even in this you can see it shine through. Oh so shiney ^^. I've seen alot of these Gorillaz things done around the place. They are a good band.
I'm just glad that this new stuff isn't like the old ones because it seemed like they had done too many mixes of the same song and/or simular songs. Maybe thats just me though

I know it's not a replica of Gorillaz yet it's close to their usual image. I kinda like it 
Anyway your pic is nice, and well defined, but i don't really like the background. Seems like a work in progress. I don't have any other negative comments around that, but if you work on those thing you could come with something interesting

btw, I would have left the background stark white, or be heavily detailed. If you look at whathisnames (sorry dude) work for the gorillaz I don't think i've ever seen a background like that. apart from that? 100% Awesome

yeah, but then this isn't supposed to be an exact replica of the gorillaz style - if it was, you'd still be able to see the pencil lines and all. I wanted to try and get the basic gorillaz style down, but then colour it in my own way ^^
The collectors edition? You get four interchangable covers, a little book with all the song credits and some artwork for each song, and a DVD with a high quality version of the Feel Good Inc. clip + some random other stuff, like the characters giving some really random audio commentary.
It also says that you get a "making of clip", but that's all lies, unfortunately. It turns out that the "making of" is just the normal clip, but with scans of the story-board instead of animation... Bit of a cop-out really, I would've enjoyed a proper making of. Still, the whole thing's pretty awesome over all

Yeah, I tried to mix a bit of my own style into it, but at the same time I wanted it to be reminiscent of the Gorillaz style. Glad you liked it
