Available as PrintCoyote Totem, had this one hounding me (heh, no pun intended) for a while. The inking took forever.
Now with a new improved scan that really shows off the accurate colour saturation.

So, what does coyote represent to you as a totem? I had a very profound vivid dream about Coyote a couple of years ago, where he merged with my body and I ran as if I were Coyote... I never pinned myself with a coyote totem though.
By the way, it is a beautiful, lovely rendition of Coyote.

I have yet to write a file on Coyote (for my totem dictionary), I really should one of these days. As zie's not a personal totem of mine, I'm not sure what coyote would represent to me, but one of these days there will be a proper file on the website!

Thank you! I don't do the markings as much in the smaller 'as totems' series, but when I do larger pictures, I really like to decorate some of the animals I draw. Coyote really lent himself to it.

I think that his facial expression is the best. Our local legends/myths/sacredness of the coyote make a lot out of his personality, and I really feel that you captured it!
