Description Castiel, as the commander of the army during the Heavenly Civil War (Season Six of Supernatural).

Partly inspired by Misha's appearance on The Soup with the stars of Spartacus. Anyway, Roman/Greek general armor is sexy. The background is also something special, to me anyway. I wanted to convey an image of burning skies, i.e. Heaven burning so I used a photograph my hubby took as reference.

Worked on this for almost a week on Painter and Photoshop. It is my first painting using the software. Too many mistakes and D'oh! moments to count while learning the software.

I could polish it more, I suppose, but I'm exhausted. Be kind while ripping into my technique. Thanks.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Castiel, who belongs to Eric Kripke and CW. I definitely don't own Misha Collins, boo hoo.

Thanks so much for the compliment. I thought for sure I screwed up in some horribly obvious way, but so far, I'm feeling encouraged.

The armor is Greek/Roman. Misha in Greek/Roman armor is smexy.
