Description
This is the first time I actually did a background for a sketch. Working with digital art all this while made me not so leery of doing a background while working in a traditional medium. That said, doing hair in this medium is not easy. At all. I had to depend on the kneaded eraser quite a bit just to make sure I have highlights. Other than that, it was fun. I had forgotten how much I loved sketching.

Done with F, 3H, 4B, 9B graphite pencils, hard and soft charcoal pencils and kneaded eraser. And my scanner is out so I had to take a photo of this.

P.S. My hubby likes this so much, he's requested I sketch the full ensemble + Loki so we can hang the set in the living room. I haven't decided yet. Depends on response and time, I guess.

P.P.S. Whoa! Earthquake while I was submitting this. I don't live in Iran, but close enough that I felt the tremors. Hope no one was hurt.
