i see you use blackshading?
if so, try to avoid that,give them warm colors as shading ^^ it will look better!

Its simply shown in my art, and there alot of tutorials all over the net! Type in "shading tutorial" in deviantart and you will find alot ^^

I actually started off a tutorial from a very famous artist on Furaffinity, but I don't always use this shading way, it's just one of them, for practice

It's confusing at times, since sone people say not to use black and white for shading, but others say is not bad and they also draw with amazing results.

because it looks really,,bland and over used in alot of drawings! colored shading brings more life in the picture! try it out yourself, its what i do myself and my pictures have improved with that technique!
