Thank you!
And that's very nice of you to say so, regarding Rooney Mara's place in "Vogue" magazine ^^

You're very welcome! I'm very happy for Rooney Mara, so I felt that I should make said comment! Also, your picture is such as sweet congratulatory gift for her as well!Β

Me too!
It was really cool to see one of the actors from the movie on a magazine!
Thank you! ^^

It was the same when I saw "Sing" and was finally convinced to watch Beetle's voice actor play Buster Moon ^^

Matthew was excellent in "Sing" just as he was in "Kubo"! I personally like his voice and he can do so much with it, so he makes for an excellent voice actor the same way he makes for an excellent on-screen actor!Β

LocalPeaches In reply to Ready2Create [2017-11-03 18:02:06 +0000 UTC]
I agree! Matthew is totally one of these actors who is both a wonderful actor in love action an animated films! Johnny Depp would probably be my second favorite of actors in this category, considering his astounding performance as Victor Van Dort!Β

Twice already, he's proven to be flexible at acting
(Brave as Beetle in "Kubo and the Two Strings", small but enthusiastic as Buster Moon in "Sing")
I agree about Johnny Depp, I almost would've never guessed he was playing this timid guy instead of his larger-than-life roles
π: 0 β©: 1
LocalPeaches In reply to Ready2Create [2017-11-10 00:04:41 +0000 UTC]
He really has proven himself in the voice acting field and I hope he eventually stars in a few more animated films, since the flexibility in his voice is excellent and he takes on the roles of his animated characters as well as his live action ones.Β
And I agree, it's not very hard to see Johnny as being a voice actor along with being a live action actor, since he tends to create different voices for each of his roles, so we automatically know that his voice was fit for the animation world, but it was a bit hard to believe that he would be voicing such a character that was as shy and timid as he was quirky!

That's great to hear! I'm very excited to see more of the animated movies he hopes to act for!Β
And that is incredibly true- all of his characters are incredibly awkward and quirky, but Ichabod and Victor probably have to be the most quirky!Β

I can recall Ichabod being so arachnophobic, he tells the boy to "Stomp it!"

LocalPeaches In reply to Ready2Create [2017-11-11 12:31:57 +0000 UTC]
I remember that too! I also recall him fainting a lot whenever a situation got too gory or stressful for him!Β
π: 0 β©: 1
Ready2Create In reply to LocalPeaches [2017-11-12 04:04:55 +0000 UTC]
And ironically, toward the end, it was the girlfriend who was fainting ^^

Same with the villain(ess):
antagonists know no gender, either

LocalPeaches In reply to Ready2Create [2017-11-16 00:11:32 +0000 UTC]
That's true! It doesn't matter what their gender is, a well-developed antogonist is a well-developed antagonist!Β

You would think the Headless Horseman was the main villain of the movie for killing travelers for no reason
The audience would never think it was a little girl, grown to be Ichabod's girlfriend's stepmother
π: 0 β©: 1
LocalPeaches In reply to Ready2Create [2017-11-16 00:30:24 +0000 UTC]
That's very true! Normally, when you think of the story of Sleepy Hollow, you tend to think of the Headless Horseman as being the villain, but it was incredibly shocking to find out that Katerina's stepmother had been the villain all along.Β

I'm guessing she was one of the twin girls in the flashback?
It would explain how she knew all about the headless horseman,
and where to find his head

If I remember correctly, she was one of the little girls in the flashback...Β

Then that explains everything!
Also, it was a bit creepy when her disembodied arm gestured at Ichabod after the Headless Horseman took her away

I actually didn't get to go to the movies at all!Β Β We had gotten so busy with Christmas shopping and a few other things there that we didn't get to go! Hopefully we'll go to see either one of them before they go out of theaters!Β

I didn't expect her to look so good in it, but she does when she has the same elegant pose and neatly groomed hair.

I liked capturing that pose, but the hard part came when I had to draw the background above her

If I were to write for Loki commenting on someone using an image of him as an avatar. I'd simply make him say that they have excellent taste or "There is a man, who understands things." (When referring to his thumbs up.)

Yes, I saw that one. He also turns Peter into a pig in another episode, as revenge for his defeat in the Throg episode.

When you think about it, Loki says spitting in Peter's food would've been far worse than turning him into a pig ^^
