In the original Yenta expressed that he was a big-time fan of it and found it cool. Don't you think he might feel the same about it here?

Probably. But "this Yenta" seems a bit different from "that Yenta." That and it hasn't really been mentioned in this comic yet. But if that part of him hasn't changed, then if done right it wouldn't be too late to suddenly mention that Yenta is a fan.
I'm not much for speculating on an ongoing story like this, so that's the best I can do.
