Into Oblivion is a FanFic that I am writing. It is a romance between Artemis and Nightwing two years after where season 2 of Young Justice left off.

I figured I would put up a cover piece for it. Used Photoshop CS5, took one hour. There may be more on the way as the story progresses.

Artemis has completely delve herself into hero work as a result of losing the one she loved most. Her obsession with The Job has everyone who cares for her worried, but they keep their concerns silent because of of only one reason - she brings in results, and good ones too. She was pushing her limit hard, becoming an exceptional hero, beginning to rival the likes of big name leaguers. However, one night she dared to cross the line, one night she gambled in a game she could not win, one night she pushed it too far.

In one swift move, her life is shattered. Everything she once believed in is taken from her, possibly forever. Suddenly, she finds herself isolated in a world she once called home. Many try to reach out to her. She turns away nearly everyone she knows. All but one. Nightwing comes to her as the only friend that can seem to shake her foundation of fear and mistrust.

It is only a short time that things begin to improve before an old mistake comes back to haunt her. There was unfinished business that never was taken care of that night things fell apart. Important information was being passed around that Artemis and a few others knew about. In a quick string of events, suddenly Artemis and the things she knows has become invaluable in the criminal empire.

Nightwing remains one of the few that can keep her safe, but what he's up against is like nothing he has ever come across. Where he is, there is sanctuary for her both in mind and in heart. There is a bounty on her head. Unable to protect herself, she is faced with the biggest, most dangerous test of her life. A test that this time may claim the biggest price of all - her life.

This story features Black Mask from Batman Under The Redhood, other Gotham city villains, some from comics, and Slade from Teen Titans (Okay, I know that Slade is in Young Justice and Teen Titans is geared toward the likes of my 8 year old brother, but seriously guys, nothing beats Ron Perlman's Slade. He is a far more sinister, cunning, and just all around impressive villain than Young Justice's. The way they portray him in the first few seasons of Teen Titans is amazing. Therefore, he will be taking the spotlight in this story.)
