In case there are no fences it seems to me that "accidents" in any kind of way are really rare. Is this place easy to reach without having a car?

Aaaah ça ! Enfin, ça dépend de la saison, et c'est pas l'un des lieux les plus touristiques du monde ^^ Mais c'est vrai ça fait perdre son charme au lieu. C'est pourquoi j'évite les voyages touristiques "classiques".
