An early experiment drawing unicorns. About 3 years old.I have new works planned now that I hope to make a lot more "original" ........less like a horse who simply had a horn glued to his head. Though, I have no complaints about drawing horses

this is so spectacular! 
unicorns are one of my favorite 'mythical' creatures (how unique is that? *grin*) but i've always wanted to be able to draw them as i see them in my mind. different than i've ever seen them anywhere else. so many visions... no skill.
your work is inspiring - i wish you all the luck in the world and a beautiful future!

I don't understand how you can make such deep black...how do you make black like that?

Try pencil leads like 6B and 9B...ebony pencils.
They get a really rich deep shade.

You can interpret reality quite well, and your work is precise and clean....I'm sure you'll keep improving by leaps and bounds.

I LUV IT! lol the eyes and the detail in the face is so amazing. i can never get the muscel tone and the vein done when it comes to horse's/uni's faces but you did an excellent job and the mane is just wonderful

Medium is graphite pencil. Regular #2, and a range from 2b-6b. Paper,......bristol, smooth texture. That's about it. Nothing fancy
