I can remember when the left hated the kurds because they were pro-US. Now that Trump has publicly pulled boots off the ground (but not privately....) the kurds are the left's posterchilds. So funny....

Nearly all anarchists, and most socialists, have supported Rojava from the beginning. It wasn't unanimous and the issue has definitely driven a wedge between certain factions, but to say that we waited until the withdrawal is simply untrue.

- Basically ended the entire idea that the US is a reliable ally.
- Allowed Turkey to abuse civilians and potentially ethnic-cleanse the region.
- Forced the last bastion of democracy in Syria to sign an alliance with the Assad regime.

I’m actually surprised that the current White House would recycle. That and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. were in the trash.
