Description With What: Sony A7rIII with 24-105mm f4 lens.
This shot sent to the phone via the Sony App and quickly tarted in Snapsneed.

A gorgeous morning of mist called to me while I stumbled out of bed bleary eyed. Seeing the must was like a shot of espresso so was fully awake and had purpose, I needed to get out of the house. I got the camera equipment ready and started searching for my clothes I discarded the night before.
If I was racing around I could have understood why my poor little toe got knocked on the coffee table, but I wasn't. The inadvertent knock sent me reeling and writhing on the floor.
10 minutes of pain and rolling around the floor holding my now, battered little toe, Fletcher, our dog, stared at me with a, 'oh, not again', look. And went back to cuddling my socks he had gathered up in the night. The pain began to subside, whilst I distractedly looked out the window at the mist.
'Right', I said, which also happens to be the buzz word for the dog to call to action. I grabbed my clothes, gingerly put on my socks and clothes and made a beeline for the front door.
The dog anticipating the best walk ever started stretching in the hallway just in front of the door blocking the way. As I hobbled toward him, he panicked and backed up quickly to try to get out of my way.
I had my camera bag over one shoulder and coat in the other. Neither helped my less the graceful fall in the hallway with the dog rushing back to his favourite chair in fear. My little toe began to throb as I had knocked it on the radiator whilst trying to stop my fall.

10 minutes after, again, holding my toe in pain, I finally gingerly wrestled my boots on. I whistled for the dog and he bounded out of the house right behind me.

I headed to a spot I had never explored fully before and parked up. It was quite a way up a hill as I was trying to grab a cloud inversion of the valley. I grabbed the camera and let the dog out of the car and headed up the hill. No sooner had I reached the cattle grid and gate I realised the dog was missing, most likely lost in the thick Heather behind me.
A pheasant exploded out of a hiding place in the brush, then another, and another, all flying in different directions, one heading directly at me. Glad that I had found the dog, but now instantly trying to avoid the crazy startled pheasant flapping and squawking straight toward me.
I dived to the right and the bird flew off screeching madly, had I been more awake I would have paid attention to the bloody great big rabbit hole beside me.
As I stood up, my already damaged foot and toe went into the hole at an awkward angle. I made a noise like the crazy pheasant and fell over.
Thankfully the boot had shielded the worst of the pain, so picked myself up and limped up the hill to grab this shot, all the while muttering to myself 'this little piggy went to market...'

I hope you like it.
