Oh that? Well, yeah, at the time when I was drawing this. I really didn't have any plans or anything for the design of this airship...I just drew what came into mind and kept on adding things as I go. So I may have unconsciously drew in some design Star Trek along with other TV shows, movies, animes, and video games and what not.
And I'm afraid I can't build this in Starmade or Minecraft mostly because 1. I've never played those games and 2. my laptop can't handle games like that. But if you know someone who's want to do a large building project on those two games, feel free to let them know about this design and please tell them about me. =3

That is one epic battleship! I could probably picture this thing as a boss in a Star-Fox style Video Game, perhaps battled in one of those "Battleship-Raid" style Boss Fights. Wouldn't that be cool?

Exactly.
I could picture the Boss Fight against this Battleship to be something like the Boss Fight at 1:57 in this video here. --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Uchm…

Yes, that kind of game play, I can understand. but it's going to have to be an air battle though and you do know what an Twin-Hull ship is, right? <=3

Yes, I do know what Twin-Hull is (a.k.a. SWATH battleship).

I really like the overall look of the drawing ... the sharp edges on the outside of the ship really show how metallic it really is and the tower details gives the perfect impression of what the outside will look like too. It would be good to have a legend showing what some of the letters stand for, most blueprints have them just to help convey your thinking for the design. The detail is the amazing part... the amount of time you put into the engine and all the rooms/ hallways is really amazing ... great job!!!

Thank you, I"m glad you like it, mate. I was planning to put a legend for it, but I never got around to put it in. But the drawing is so old now that some of the rooms that I design are a bit too big for the purpose they were for, Like for example FS stands for Food Storage or R is stands for Refrigerator. At the time I didn't have much to go on when it came to designing sea ships, let alone an airship. <=3
Now there was another airship design above this one which a, but it was left unfinished so it had to be edited out from this drawing. Now then, on to the air battleship itself, As stated before this is a twin-hull air battleship which is basically two hulls of the same air battleship connected together to make one that is able to carry more firepower and increase its capacity to carry support VTOL jet fighters. Now there were plans of doing a blueprint drawing of this in different angles, but I never got round to working on it.

eh, they arnt going for minecraft in space, if you want that, you would have to go check out StarMade. currently its easiest to see it as minecraft in space because the games own flavor hasnt come out yet. its a voxel game, but they want more Halo 1 graphics then Minecraft style or graphics. there are some great videos actually. check this out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoKNkA…
this is the "under the hood" intentions here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5KEb1…
Ill explain more later if you like. i personally have high hopes for it.

and every Shooter reminds me of halo 1 and Golden Eye. *shrugs* nothing new under the sun. Infiminer used the same system as Minecraft before minecraft existed, but no one heard of it, so it was ignored. only time will tell if Blockade runner manages to edge out of the "its got blocks, must be a copy of minecraft" territory.
regardless, id really like to see this as a flyable spaceship in BR.

This is a CONCEPT!? Looks like a top-secret blueprint to me!!
Hmm...how good would you do at designing a castle-sized mansion? My character lives in one in my story, but I'm a terrible architect. XD

IllEatYourself In reply to RedW0lf777sg [2013-09-02 06:24:12 +0000 UTC]
Hmm...kinda. I was thinking more along the lines of a large mansion of white marble, one big building, built on the edge of a large forest in a region where the weather is a bit erratic. One day it could be raining, the next snowing, mild snow the day after, and then suddenly really warm for a few days. This is based on the weather patterns of Lehi, Utah, where I live, around the time I started writing my story involving the mansion. We had like no snow this winter, and it was even pretty warm sometimes. Anyway, love those pictures, they are fantastic, but instead of doing outside views and such, I was thinking something like your battleship. Two or three cross-sections of the mansion detailing the locations of its rooms on each of its two or three floors. This thing was meant to be large, but it needs to be visibly large, so if any part of it is under ground level, it would only be one floor. The main purpose of this is not to show how cool the mansion is, but to help me figure out how to describe the layout, since I suck at architecture and can't think of much beyond a basic shape and a few key rooms. I even have trouble figuring out where those few key rooms would be, aside from the one that matters to me the most, the Piano Room. It's a room in the back of the mansion connected to a nearby hallway running the back perimeter of the mansion by another short hallway of its own, which has a pair of double doors at each end. The room itself is circular with at least one window (I think I gave it three but I don't remember) and there is a grand piano in the center of the room. Oh yes, and the ceiling/roof is one of those cone-shaped kinds...I think it's called a Turret? Anyway, it's supposed to be very beautiful and yet simple at the same time, with it's most emotionally moving moods occurring when it is either storming outside or the sun is shining through the windows in a relaxing manner (you know, when the sun shines through a window in a way that makes the beams of light somewhat visible).

IllEatYourself In reply to RedW0lf777sg [2013-09-06 05:21:58 +0000 UTC]
Pretty much. At least a map of each floor. XD If you want I can give you a link to what I've written so far and send you what I've written of the next chapter. I was also thinking of having a separate room with a large pipe organ in it somewhere, but I honestly don't know if I want that to be in the mansion or elsewhere in the story. My character kind of orphaned himself by accident (it's a Fullmetal Alchemist story by the way), but he's a very musically talented guy, able to play the pipe organ and piano flawlessly and also able to play just about any woodwind with ease after a short period of practice. On top of that, he sometimes does weapon designs for a blacksmith he knows. He had relatives that were very talented as well, one of which was a painter that for some reason didn't have much luck with his artwork (this is based on my uncle, Scott, who is actually a painter with some fantastic artwork, and he even owns his own painting company, Ascotty Painting, but for some reason isn't very successful as far as I know. You should see what he can do with an etch-a-sketch! Here's some of his artwork on his company's facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Ascotty… , two of which were very good mathematicians, and most if not all of his relatives knew how to play some sort of instrument. Due to all of this, I wanted the mansion to have a lot of rooms for just about every purpose, including a large library somewhere. One thing I really need to figure out is where to put the kitchen(s). I wanted at least one dining room, a large one since before the family died they had planned to occasionally have large parties, and if there was to be a second one then it would be about average size. Both would be connected to a kitchen, with the larger dining room being connected to a larger, more professional kitchen. Just to name a few. The rest can be found in my story or just thought up as you see fit.

I'm sorry, mate. But I'm not taking any more requests at the moment. my client list is already full right now and besides I don't take those kinds requests. And even if I did, I will have to charge you a large amount of dA points. Around 3,000 to 5,000 per floor, depending how big the mansion is.

IllEatYourself In reply to IllEatYourself [2013-09-01 08:12:12 +0000 UTC]
The reason I'm asking is because it would be considerably easier to write my story if I knew the layout of the mansion. Otherwise I pretty much have to settle for "They ran through a few halls" all the time.

Well, of course, this design along with my other airship designs are heavily inspire by Space Battleship Yamato, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, Queen Emeraldas and Cosmo Warrior Zero along with many other anime's that was either directed or written by Leiji Matsumoto. =3
And quite frankly mate, how can I not get inspire in designing airships like that when I see artwork like this: i1302.photobucket.com/albums/a…
