Hey! I saw that the theme for July was the deep blue and was super excited, so this is the first contest/thingy I've done.
That said, I chose to do a character and full environment piece, which I always struggle with and hope to get better at. I had sooo much trouble with this and redid it maaany times ><

The concept is from an original world of mine, and this is a mermaid city. I thought, well underwater the buildings don't have to look like buildings..or even be on the ground..so what if they float like bubble plants? It would make sense if this world had bubble plants and the merpeople used them as inspiration. Maybe they even live in some of the actual plants. That's super green of you, merpeople. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this. Happy Weekend!
