Another concept for the game project Evergreen.

When the forest god gets close to one of these trees the veins within the trunk, as well as the ones on the forest god's antlers start to glow. The ringtrees bear a lot of energy. Once the forest god leaps through the ring of the trunk a great energy wave is unleashed which causes all the plants within the area to suddenly sprout and bloom. Jumping through the rings of these trees is one of the main objectives in the game. Though it's not that easy, since the player must solve riddles beforehand which 'cause an infestation to the trees and surrounding area and makes them loose their power.

Next up will be the visual development for the dark depths of the forest (which will be the playground for the endgame) and the infestation. I'm very excited - I've been designing a lot of assets for the forest lately so it's been a while since I got to do full environment moods.
