Just finished this today and by damn it took months... only because I'm easily distracted. >.>So I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who saw Robin's new look after 3D2Y and was like "LOOK THEY'RE ALREADY STARTING TO MATCH!!!" And the fact that Robin's ugly skirt thing (yes that's right I hate that thing) looks like a towel is so not helping my fandom for the Frobin.
I actually love a lot of pairings in OnePiece. LuNa, ZoNa, LuCock, LuVi, ZoLu, Usami, etc. So pretty much I support most every couple but Frobin is my OTP, bitches. They are tooooo perfect together. Stimulate both the mind and the body and I just love that they'd bring out the best of each other if together you know.... well maybe most of you don't but WHATEVER!!! FROBIN ALL THE WAY BITCHES!!!
And I'm probably the only person in the world who actually LIKES Franky's new look. It just suits the guy too much for me to hate it. I will say though that I manipulated his anatomy a bit here. In the manga he's a lot more beef-ier and larger, but it was my first time drawing this version so... eh...

I like Franky's nes look to. My ONLY complain would be the sphere-shoulderpads. I'd like it if he wore choulderpads more like that of Don Krieg's. He'd look more threatening and... wel... i Actually like Robin-Luffy Better, Franky is better suited for Nami if you ask me.
It's just that Robin is too... passive as to match up with Fraky's energetic behaviour, and yet with luffy they'd learn so much from each other. Luffy'd know how to cheer Robin up, and Robin might be the only one able to keep an eye on Luffy without scolding him all the time like Nami would.
I just think Robin fits Luffy better than Franky.
For Zoro, I absolutley go with perona. SHe's the only one hwo can keep the guy on chek, and we all know how much he needs that. Nami goes smoothly with Usopp, or maybe Brook if he stops fooling around with any female that crosses his path.
Sanji can't do that, Nami will never get along with that, so i'd say that Margareth (From Amazon Lily) fits him better.

OMG I hate her skirt too! I'm hoping she gets a costume change soon just like how before the time skip they all got different outfits throughout...it just doesn't fit in my opinion..but great work and Frobin FTW!

Yeah I'm hoping for the costume change as well. It'll be cool to see all that happens but I think it'll be a while just like it was pre-3D2Y. The first time they actually changed clothes was in the Arlong Arc so it may take a while for their new looks to get a costume change as well.

i hear you Frobin FTW i definatly dont see any reason why they wouldnt work well together...i mean franky may not be as mature as robin but in a relationship its fine for then to be more or less than the other so they can round each other out...and do you remember the scene when they see each other the first time after the time skip franky was all " and here is our beautiful archaelogist Nico Robin" if thats not flirting than i dont know what is.....not to mention they both had problematic childhoods and their parental figure was killed right in front of them.....they also had to hide from the world government and they both went to the dark side for a bit............none of the strawhats seem to fit as well together............as far as this goes...........we are totally in concurance

Yeah their relationship with the world government and their history is definitely a good sign of just how much they do have in common. I do actually think though that Franky's maturity is very VERY underestimated. I mean sure he may not be as cool as Robin and goes off to play but Franky's just one of those guys who knows when it's time to be serious and when it's not, and if he can add a little joke or have a little fun well why the hell shouldn't he? He's just not the type to let his maturity show, pretty much like how he was at Water 7.
He got all the trouble makers in line and became their sort of father figure if only to keep Water 7 going smoothly, but at the same time took on the role of 'the biggest baddie' in the whole city.
In many respects I actually find Franky to be MORE mature than Robin. Sure Robin is cool and looks at thinks with a calculative aspect and is insanely intelligent, but in terms of mature standards and behaviors Franky actually succeeds her.
So yes I agree, but don't count Franky out and take him at face value. He's just one of those sneaky bashful types who doesn't want you to know just how awesome he actually is. XD

ok well i definatly see where your going and maybe they are somewhere near the same in maturity but robin seems to show more of it since she is such a tough egg to crack through franky masks his with humor though he certainly knows when to get down to business
