You are too kind. 
I spend so much time looking at lots of mountain settings on google... and trying to incorporate bits and pieces of all of them into mine.  It definitely does not always work (sometimes I think I have too many blues, or weird saturations, or IDK... they're just off).  But I know I need to keep trying and practicing.  And it makes me so happy to hear you say all these nice things about my snow/trees/mountains, too. 
And I'm so glad you like Sura's outfit... because I do too.  I had so much fun working on that one.

Nah, I'm not All well deserved.

All that time and research really paid off, then! And yeah; snow is an interesting one. I love painting it, but I tend to play with purple and yellow tones, rather than blue, so maybe that's something else for me to try (I did this for someone, and that's basically my philosophy with snow - boop ) Haha, it definitely looks like you had fun designing Sura's clothes

Wow, your snow tutorial is amazing.
I love the colors you use... the yellows and purples look so natural and realistic. 
Maybe I need to try to work more with those shades next time.

Really? XD I threw it together so fast for someone, haha. Thanks, though! And yeah; I'm always going on about colour physics, which is all to do with the colour wheel and what naturally occurs in terms of light and shadow. So when you have natural daylight, its usually very slightly yellow, so shadows fall in slightly purple tones, because they're opposite. If you have pink light, shadows fall in green and so on. I find that helps things look natural in paintings, too (and with snow especially its a lot of fun because you can see the colours in it so easily )

Sorry, shutting up now It would be cool to see you try snow with those colours, though you do blue toned snow so well ^^

I really, really wanted it to be something that you enjoyed.  Ala is such a pretty Toko and I loved drawing her.

And once I saw that you won my donated geno, from Kara's Advent Calendar, I wanted to badly to go back and find a way to add him to the picture as well.  But I wasn't sure if you were going to use the provided design, and if you did that if he would be accepted/uploaded in time.  So I decided not to push it (so Ala could redeem an explore right away)... but the thought was there.  ; )
