Masterful piece. I spent a lot of my childhood sailing, and this is just perfect. Your lighting and textures are lovely.

Beautifully ethereal. I really like the decision on the spacing of the ships' sails. The foremost ones draw you into the picture, yet the colours are delicate and soft ensuring it doesn't feel too oppressive. Also the way the one sail cuts off the rays of the sun has quite an enshrouding effect, like shade from the sun. Which really adds to the cosseting effect of the piece. I like the use of the birds for perspective as well. It grants the viewer a touchstone to relate to.
Very delicate piece, very gentle. I love the congruence of theme here as well. How it complements itself.
