I have no idea if I should count this as an oc but I felt like drawing a Gallade so here you go-

Lancer is Koray's Gallade, having been given to him as a little Ralts when the trainer first started his journey. He is rarely in his Pokeball, and often takes up the same resources as would another person. There are several things that people think sets apart Lancer from "normal" Gallades, a few being having a darker coloring and being a lot taller than average, but the abnormality people notice most is Lancer's blue eyes. There have been very few, if any, cases of Gallade having an eye color other than red not counting shinies, and not even any professors know what had caused Lancer to have a strange eye color. Another thing people find very strange: Lancer hates battling. He can battle, if defending himself, but if pitted against a Bisharp, he would most likely run from the fight- Another characteristic unlike other Gallades. Lancer is considered by some of Koray's friends as a "Gardevoir who tripped on a Dawn Stone", because despite being a fighting type, Lancer knows moves like Heal Pulse and Thunder Wave. Koray has worked with Lancer since he was a Ralts, trying to get him used to battle, and other Pokemon in general, and considering that Lancer didn't trust anybody except for Koray at first, he has greatly improved.

The actual way that Lancer evolved was very strange. Running into some strange people wearing suits who apparently wanted to steal Koray's Pokemon, Koray put Lancer as a Kirlia againat them. The problem was, they used a weapon. When one of the grunts fired a beam at Lancer, he evolved upon impact. After being taken to a Pokemon center and calling the professor, he was redirected to a professor named Professor Rowan. After hearing what happened, the professor speculated that the weaon the grunts were using contained material found in Dawn Stones. Despite the strange evolution circumstances, the trainer was reassured that Lancer would be fine.

The Mega Stone that Lancer has was actually straight from a cave. Koray heard rumors of things called "Galladites" in a nearby cave that would make Gallade stronger, so he, with no hesitation, got there as quickly as he could. After several battles with wild Pokemon and trainers also looking for the stone, they finally found the Galladite. Lancer has only Mega Evolved one time, having been in order to protect Koray's Zoroark from a Salamence rampaging through a city.

Despite his incredibly abnormal characteristics, Lancer truly does care about Koray and would give up his life for him. The two have been together since the very beginning of their journey, and their bond is incredibly strong. Lancer is not ready to let that end anytime soon.
