What's Prym Kursani?
The city-state that this breed of Ukuma lives in. It's a pretty cool place.

Can I make an Ukuma?
Yep! It's nice to ask first so I know if you're making one, but you don't NEED to. You don't need to credit me for the character itself, you made it! But please don't claim the species itself as a whole. If someone asks you what your Ukuma's species is, don' say "i made it up lol" or "its my own species." Instead you can say Ukumas made by Rhi The Hybrid" or something like that. And if you do post them to DA, I'd love to see them!

With stories n stuff, I'm completely fine with implementing Ukumas into original stories/fanficions (COUGHTrekCOUGH), but please don't, like plan on selling a novel containing Ukumas, lol.

Can you mix different traits for mask, hood, cloak, ect.? (An Ukuma with ears and round eyes for example?)
Heck yeah! I just mashed them all on a couple Ukuma heads just to save space. There's nothing wrong with making an Ukuma with transparent cloth but round eyes and no head growths. Go crazy! Besides the "do nots," there's literally no restrictions!

Can I make an Ukuma that's not from Prym Kursani (the Ukuma breed shown here)?
I mean, technically you CAN, but I only have really one single Ukuma sub-breed besides Ukumas from Prym Kursani, so unless I make a guide for those, it's kinda not recommended. But what you CAN do is suggest an Ukuma sub-breed and if I like it I might develop it!

Why do these look like Journey characters?
Welll, I DO like Journey, a lot. One of my favorite video games. I thought that the very first drawing of an "Ukuma" I made looked TOO MUCH like Journey and changed it. And yes, I do know they look SUPER similar to Journey wayfairers. But, they aren't even close to the same thing. While we do know next to nothing about Journey wayfairers, besides the pictures I have written an entire lore for Ukumas, written about how their biology and magic work, I made a WHOLE ALPHABET, and heck, they even live on the same planet around the same time as Yokagai! Compare them to Journey all you want, but take a look at the ten million dog/cat monster variants out there. Heck, it would be cool to see other peoples' takes on a species based around cloth!

Ukuma names/backstory/ect.? What are the guidelines?
Well, I guess you can take established characters of mine that are Ukumas as an example. Auris, Bengt, and Ndu. All sounding like foreign/fantasy/ancient names. I guess the only restriction on names is don't name them "poopface" and that modern names (like John, Sarah, ect.)
(Yes, Bengt is named after PewDiePie's companion in his journey play-through.)

As for backstory, the best thing I can do without writing a huge paragraph is summarize Prym Kursani society.
Prym Kursani is ruled by a king, but it's also slightly like a democracy. If a king that's crappy takes over, the people of Prym Kursani are allowed to kick him off the throne. Other than the old king leaving and a new one voted on, the ruler is often decided by bloodline. Basically a bloodline lasts until a crappy dude comes and his whole family gets kicked out.

Other than that' you can kind of think of it like old America. The lower class is often the farmers who produce the food and work in manufacturing, the middle class consists of weavers, home builders, bakers, ect. ect. ect. and the upper class has the rich real-estate dudes, good authors, artists, and the highest class is royalty.

Technology is kinda iffy. The absolute biggest thing Ukumas have technology-wise is probably being able to manufacture things in "factories" at a fast pace thanks to magic. Houses are make of brick/clay, their beds are made of things like feathers, hay, ect. and they often cook their own food and there's no fast foods or anything.

Long story short, 1700s in Great Britain I guess.

For speech and stuff, just how normal people nowadays talk.

Only restrictions I guess on backstory is don't make a Mary Sue. I'll write more in-depth about this later. This is SUPER long.
