This is my new one of a kind handmade red brooch. I made this for projecteducate challenge fav.me/db9yu0g The theme was "unrequited love" so I made a brooch with a suffering heart pierced by thorns. I was inspired mostly by voodoo dolls in the use of the pins and plastic toothpick as thorns. It was very fun and challenging working with this theme
The size is 12 x 11.5 cm. To make it I used hot glue, a red bow, marbles, beads, plastic toothpick clothespins, thread,a clay heart, polystyrene, feathers, plastic thread, wire, a small glass bottle and other miscellaneous objects.
Perfect to put on bags, backpacks and clothes as a fashion satatement but it can also be used as a centerpiece or attached to the wall as a piece of wall art. The picture was made with a reflex, using white cardboard as background.
