After taking the photo, I began to discern a long haired figure, left side and back to us. He's hanging his head.,etc,...so I GoogleD HANDCUFFED PERSONS and found one that combined VERY WELL with the wood. It then became political piece as Trump was/is threatening deportations You Read It Well....thanks....blow up to see the handcuffs. Regards....

Glad you like THAT photo. Out of the the 104 pics I shot in Seattle,
I found 4 that I like. Gray, chilly, wet days there at Xmas. Nice to
see my son for a few days, and eat Thai food!!!.

I never got the bird thing. What I played on is the view of a person
with long hair, from mostly the back ~ even WITHOUT adding (in PhtoShp) the handcuffed hands
and arms of a Google Image. The head is tilted forward. So I went into the
political idea of Our New Government limiting immigration, etc etc. It's all
pretty subjective, as I now realize....I TRULY APPRECIATE your comments Clair!!!!

Β I wondered why you call thisΒ "the drifter"... Now, effectively,Β I'm obliged to discern the human outline...A figurehead?Β I never saw the political symbol here. I'm afraid I do prefer the image of a wild lonely bird,in a motionless dark seascape.... Not extraordinary if you look back into your works....

The figure on the wood was amazingly already there. I just researched a
Google Image of a handcuffed individual, and the arms fit perfectly. You may have
missed the same figure/wood in my FIRST photo, thisΒ time the figure is leaving the
strange building, lower left:

Saw the bird straight away.We have a tall tree outside and the top is like your drifter.The woodpigeons etc sit on it in the morning.
